TO OBTAIN
THE I-20 FORM
1- Complete the "International
Student Application" form.
2- Submit on bank letterhead,
an official letter addressed to the Orlando Language School, where it
shows the amount of money required to finance your language education.
In the case a sponsor is needed, the bank letter must express that it
will sponsor the student.
How to calculate the amount of money for the course? The
course for international students must be intensive, that is a minimum
of 4 (four) hours daily, from Monday through Friday.
The cost for 4 (four) weeks is $ 698.00. In addition, you
must calculate the cost for housing, food and transportation, and these
are approximately $750.00 monthly.
For example: If the visa is for 1 (one) year, the cost for
the classes is: $698.00 x 12 = $8,376.00 plus the costs of living in the
USA: $750.00 x 12= $9,000. This example relates to a single person without
a companion.
3- Photocopy of the Passport.
4- In case the student
requires a sponsor, the sponsor must complete and notarize the "Affidavit
of Support" form.
5- The cost to file the
I-20 form has a value of $280.00 (non-refundable).
This payment can be made in cash, credit card and check.

In the case of being a credit card, an authorization form
must be completed in order to collect the money.
6- U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services requires that the student has a health insurance,
in the case that he/she does not has it, it is necessary to acquire one.
In order to file the I-20 form the student must pay the processing fee
($65.00) for the health insurance.
Optional: the monthly cost for the health insurance is $65.00
(non-refundable). Upon approval of I-20 by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services, the student will obtain:
1. Original I-20 form signed by the Director of the Orlando Language School
and signed by the student.
2. Letter from the Bank.
3. Letter of the Orlando Language School informing that the student is
registered in our school.
4. Orlando Language School rules handbook.
5. The student must request an appointment and must appear at the United
States Consulate at his/her native country or country of residence. Only
the officers at the consulate have the authority to grant the Student
Visa, which will be stamped in the passport and in the I-20 form. |
